Review: Think of a Number

Think of a Number
Think of a Number by John Verdon
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I love walking into an engrossing crime mystery. This was one of those. Gurney is a deeply flawed former detective who finds himself pulled into a mystery that turns into a murder mystery against his own wishes. But his wife, patient though frustrated would rather he left his cop days behind him. Unravelling the mystery was almost as consuming as rooting for Gurney and his wife to work things out.John Verdon has a new fan in me.
